The Great Migration
The Great Migration is an epic, annual journey of around 1.5 million wildebeest, accompanied by zebras and gazelles, as they travel in a circular route of roughly 1,800 miles across the Serengeti-Mara ecosystem in Tanzania and Kenya. Driven by the search for fresh grazing and water, the herds face numerous challenges, including the treacherous crossings of the Grumeti and Mara rivers, where crocodiles and powerful currents pose deadly threats. This migration follows the seasonal rains, beginning with calving in southern Serengeti and moving northward through predator-rich territories, culminating in a return to the Serengeti for the next calving season. It’s a vital event for the ecosystem, supporting predator-prey dynamics and sustaining biodiversity in the region.

"Our guide read the plains like a book — he had us alone at a leopard sighting for twenty minutes before anyone else arrived. Every camp, every transfer, every meal was thought through."
Sarah & James, UK

"Enduata put together a combination of Serengeti and Zanzibar that went seamlessly. Communication before we travelled was clear and quick, and the trip itself was even better than the plan."

"I contacted them only wanting a suggestion for a camp. I was blown away by how much they knew, and how carefully they curated something that was exactly what we wanted."
