Arrival from Nairobi to Kimana/Amboseli National Park

In the morning, you’ll depart Nairobi’s Wilson Airport on a scenic 1-hour flight to Angama Amboseli’s private airstrip, soaring over the vast Kenyan landscapes before landing in the heart of Kimana Sanctuary. Upon arrival, you’ll be warmly welcomed by your safari guide and taken on a short picturesque transfer to the camp, where you’ll check into your luxurious guest suite — an elegant space with sweeping views of the savannah and the majestic silhouette of Mount Kilimanjaro. After a relaxing afternoon settling in, you’ll embark on your first game drive through the sanctuary’s rich, wildlife-filled plains, where you may encounter elephants, giraffes, lions, and an astonishing variety of birds.
