Day 1

Kigali to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Meet & assist

You'll start your journey with an early morning breakfast at your Kigali hotel before meeting your driver guide for pick up, and then visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial. You'll depart for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site and home to the endangered mountain gorillas. The drive is scenic and offers glimpses of Uganda’s rolling hills and countryside. You'll arrive in time to relax at Four Gorillas Lodge or a similar lodge surrounded by lush rainforest. An overnight stay allows you to prepare for the gorilla trekking adventure the next day.

Departure

You'll drive back toward Entebbe with a stop at the top of Murchison Falls for panoramic views of the Nile River. You'll continue to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a guided rhino trekking experience, observing these rare giants up close. You'll proceed to Entebbe for drop-off at your hotel or the airport, marking the end of your extraordinary Uganda safari adventure filled with gorillas, chimpanzees, and Big Five encounters.
